Apple Expands Retail Presence in India
Apple has officially announced the launch of its fourth retail store in India. The new outlet will open on September 4 in Koregaon Park, Pune, just ahead of the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series launch next month. This follows the company’s recent announcement of its third retail store in Bengaluru.
Store Design and Location
The barricade of the upcoming Apple Koregaon Park store was revealed today, showcasing a design theme similar to the Apple Hebbal store in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru store, located at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bellary Road, is set to open on September 2. Both stores feature artwork inspired by the Peacock, India’s national bird. Reports suggest that the Pune outlet will span approximately 10,000 square feet.
Strengthening Customer Experience
Apple’s growing retail network in India will provide customers with more opportunities to explore new products and enjoy exclusive offers across multiple locations. Customers will be able to experience the full Apple ecosystem, including the iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and more.
Apple’s Retail Journey in India
Apple’s retail journey in India began in April 2023 with the opening of its first store, Apple BKC in Mumbai. This was followed by Apple Saket in New Delhi later the same year. With the addition of Apple Hebbal (Bengaluru) and Apple Koregaon Park (Pune), Apple continues to strengthen its physical presence in the country.

In its press release for the Pune store, Apple said:
“With the addition of new retail services like Shop with a Specialist over Video and the Apple Store app launched earlier this year, Apple continues to deepen its commitment to customers in India, empowering customers with more personalised and secure ways to connect with Apple than ever before.”
What’s Next for Apple in India
Reports suggest that Apple is planning further expansion, with upcoming retail stores possibly opening in Hyderabad and Chennai in the near future.
